How to resend a team invitation
Resend a login invitation to an inspector or staff member from My Team when they did not get the first email.
Before you start
- This applies to inspector / solar-pro accounts. Agents see a different setup.
- The team member must already exist on your team. If you have not created them yet, add them first under Inspectors or Staff.
- Make sure the member's email on file is correct, since the invitation goes to that address.
Steps
- Open My Team. In the sidebar, click My Team. The page header reads "My Team" with the tabs Inspectors and Staff (see screenshot).
- Pick the right tab. Click Inspectors for an inspector, or Staff for a staff member.
- Find the person. Scroll the list or type their name into Search inspectors... to narrow it down.
- Click the Mail icon on their row, in the ACTIONS column. A modal titled "Resend Invitation" opens.
- Click "Send Invite". A toast confirms "Invitation successfully sent to {Name}".
Tip: Ask the member to check spam and promotions folders before you resend, since the first email may have landed there.
Common mistakes
- Resending before confirming the email address. If the address is wrong, every resend fails. Open the member with the pencil icon and update the email first.
- Looking on the wrong tab. Inspectors and Staff are separate lists, so check both if you cannot find the name.
What happens next
The member gets a fresh invitation email with a link to set up their login. Once they accept, their status updates and they can sign in to Sprk Pro.
